How to reply to Google reviews for every location from one inbox

When reviews for every location arrive in one inbox, replying stops depending on who remembers to check which profile. In SkedCast each new or updated Google review lands beside your comments and messages, with the location’s rating summary; a teammate replies, or drafts a reply and sends it for an owner or manager to approve, and the reply deadline for that client keeps the queue moving.

Key takeaways

  • Reviews for every connected location arrive in one list, filterable by location and star rating.
  • A reply can be sent directly or sent to an owner or manager to approve first.
  • Reply deadlines per client, with business hours, show which reviews are overdue.
  • Automation replies to a location’s reviews only after the business’s consent is recorded.

See every review in one place

Filter the inbox to Reviews, then by location or by star rating — 1–2, 3 or 4–5 stars, or reviews with no text. Each review opens with the location’s average rating, how many reviews are answered and how quickly.

Write the reply

Type a reply, start from a saved reply, or ask SkedCast AI for a suggestion in the brand’s voice (from the Solo plan, one AI credit each). Replies to reviews are public, and the composer says so.

Add an approval step when it matters

Send a reply for approval and it waits for an owner or manager, who can approve it or discard it. It suits one-star reviews, regulated businesses, or a new teammate’s first week.

Keep to a response time

Set a response target per client — for example four business hours — and each review shows the time left, turning red when it is overdue. Alerts can tell the right person about low-star reviews as they arrive.

Let AI draft, or answer the routine ones

From the Studio plan, a rule can have AI draft a reply to each new review, following instructions you write — thank them by name, mention the location, never promise a refund — and any teammate reviews, edits and sends it. Or it can send the AI reply automatically: by default only for 4- and 5-star reviews, while lower ratings, reviews without text, complaints and anything about refunds or safety are left as drafts for a person.

Automatic replies to a location’s reviews start only after the business’s consent for automation is recorded for that location, and one switch pauses every automatic AI reply in the workspace.

FAQ

Can I reply to Google reviews without logging into each Business Profile?
Yes. Connect each location once and its reviews arrive in the SkedCast inbox, where you can reply.
Can a manager approve review replies before they post?
Yes. Send the reply for approval and it waits for an owner or manager to approve or discard it.
Does SkedCast reply to reviews automatically?
Only if a rule is set to reply with AI automatically and the business’s consent for automation is recorded for that location. By default it sends only for 4- and 5-star reviews; the rest become drafts for a person.
