Refunds & Cancellation
This policy explains how to cancel your SkedCast subscription, what happens to your access afterward, and how refunds work. It supplements the billing terms in our Terms of Service.
1. How to cancel
You can cancel at any time, yourself, from your billing settings in the Agency Console — no email or phone call required. Open Settings → Billing and choose to cancel your plan. Your cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period, and we will not charge you again after that.
If you cannot reach your billing settings, contact [email protected] and we will help you cancel.
2. What happens at the end of your paid period
When you cancel, your subscription stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, so:
- Your access continues until the end of the current paid period — you keep using the Service through the date you have paid through.
- At period end, your plan stops renewing and paid features become unavailable; scheduled posts that depend on a paid plan may not publish after that date.
- Your data is retained and then deleted as described in our Privacy Policy and Data Deletion page; you can also request deletion of your account and stored OAuth tokens at any time.
3. Refunds on partial periods
Subscription fees are billed in advance for each period and are non-refundable. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for partial billing periods, unused time, or downgrades made mid-period, except where a refund is required by applicable law (see below). Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the period you are currently in.
Any third-party platform fees passed through to you — for example, certain platforms (such as X) charge per-post or per-operation API fees — are separate from your subscription and are likewise non-refundable once incurred. We provide cost estimates and spend controls for those fees, as described in our Terms of Service.
4. Legally-required refunds
Nothing in this policy limits any refund or cancellation right you have under mandatory law in your jurisdiction (for example, statutory consumer-withdrawal or cooling-off rights where they apply). If you believe you are entitled to a refund under applicable law, contact us at [email protected] (or [email protected] for legal requests) with your account details and the basis for your request, and we will review it promptly.
5. EU & UK consumers: your 14-day right of withdrawal
SkedCast is a business tool and is not directed to consumers for personal or household use (see Terms of Service, “Eligibility”), so most customers contract with us as a business and this section does not apply to them. If you nevertheless contract with us as a consumer resident in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the following applies and nothing in this policy limits it.
- You may withdraw from your subscription within 14 days of the day the contract is concluded — that is, the day you complete checkout — without giving any reason and without penalty.
- To withdraw, send us a clear statement to that effect — email [email protected] (or [email protected]) with your account email and a sentence saying you are withdrawing from the contract. No particular form of words is required; you may use the model withdrawal form in the legislation if you prefer, but you do not have to.
- We do not ask you at checkout to consent to the subscription starting during the withdrawal period, and we do not ask you to acknowledge losing this right — so the 14 days run in full.
- On withdrawal we refund what you paid for that subscription period using the same payment method, without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of being told.
This right is separate from, and additional to, the cancellation route in section 1 (which stops future renewals rather than unwinding the current period).
6. Refunds and referral credit
A refund can affect a referral reward, because a reward is earned on a payment actually being made and kept. If the payment behind a referral is refunded or charged back, the reward earned on it is withdrawn: while it is still within its holding period it simply does not become payable, and if it has already been applied we reverse it against the account that received it. We never take back more than the reward itself, and we never touch credit that came from anywhere else. A refund on your own subscription does not affect rewards you earned by referring other people. The full rules are in the Referral Program Terms.
7. Taxes
Prices are in USD and are the amount charged. They do not include VAT, GST or sales tax; where such tax applies to your purchase, you are responsible for accounting for it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; the “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version. Questions about billing, cancellation, or refunds can be sent to [email protected].
