Referral Program Terms

Any SkedCast workspace owner with a verified email address can take a referral link, on any plan including the free one. Managers in your workspace can share your link; only the owner can take it, change its settings, or accept these terms.

Limits and eligibility belong to the person, not the workspace. If you own several workspaces they draw on one shared allowance — creating additional workspaces does not create additional allowances.

A referral counts when someone new to SkedCast creates their own new workspace using your link or your code. The following never count:

• Yourself, including any additional email address that reaches an inbox you already use.
• Anyone who already has a SkedCast account, or a new workspace created by an existing user.
• People you invite into your own workspace as a team member.

Your link sets a cookie that lasts 30 days. If someone enters a different code at signup, that code is used instead — the field stays visible and editable for exactly that reason.

The person you refer gets their first month free on any monthly plan. Annual plans already include a 20% discount and do not receive an additional free month. The discount must be used within 90 days of them signing up.

You receive account credit equal to one month of the plan they chose, up to a maximum of $49 per referral. Credit is applied to your next invoice automatically. If you are not on a paid plan when it is released, it is held for you and applies once you subscribe.

Credit is not money. It cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred to another account, or refunded, and it has no value except as a reduction of what you owe us for SkedCast.

You earn a reward when the person you referred pays their first real invoice — not when they sign up, and not while they are inside a free month.

The reward is then held before it becomes yours:

• 30 days for a monthly plan paid by card.
• 60 days for an annual plan, or for any payment made by bank debit, because those payments can be reversed for longer.

During the hold, a refund, a chargeback, a returned payment or a cancellation on their side cancels the reward. Both accounts must also remain in good standing.

• Up to 10 rewards per person in any rolling twelve months, across every workspace you own.
• One reward per referred workspace, ever.
• A maximum of $49 per referral.
• Released credit expires 12 months after it is released. We warn you before that happens.

The program is for personally introducing people who would genuinely benefit from SkedCast. The following are not permitted:

• Referring yourself, or using additional identities, payment cards or email addresses to appear to be more than one person.
• Bidding on our brand name in paid advertising, or placing your link on coupon, deal or voucher sites.
• Unsolicited bulk messaging of any kind, including spam email, comment spam and automated posting.
• Presenting your link as if it comes from us, or in any way that misrepresents what the offer is.
• Automating signups, or any attempt to generate referrals other than by a real person choosing to join.

If you share your link publicly rather than sending it to someone directly, you must say that you receive a reward when someone signs up through it. This is required of you by advertising rules in several countries, and we ask you to confirm you understand it before you share publicly for the first time.

We may hold a reward for review, refuse it, or reverse one already applied, where we reasonably believe these terms have not been met — including where the payment behind it is refunded, disputed or returned.

We will tell you when this happens and give you a reason. If you think we have it wrong, you can ask us to look again and a second member of our team will review it. Where a reward is reversed after you have already used the credit, the balance is set against future rewards rather than invoiced to you.

Reversing a reward does not by itself affect the account of the person you referred, or any discount they have already received.

When someone signs up through your link, we show them your workspace name, and your referral settings show you that they signed up and, later, that their first payment went through — because that is what your reward depends on. We never show you their email address, and we do not share anything else about their account with you. You can turn off showing your workspace name from your referral settings.

We do not email anyone on your behalf. Sharing your link is something you do, through your own channels.

Referral credit reduces what you owe us; it is not a payment to you. Depending on where you are and how you are taxed, receiving it may still be something you need to account for, and that is your responsibility rather than ours. If you are unsure, speak to your accountant.

We may change these terms or end the program. Changes apply from the date a new version is published and never retrospectively to a reward you have already earned. Rewards already released stay yours for their normal life.

This program is run by Alpha Exotic Tech LLC. These terms are governed by the same law and jurisdiction as our Terms of Service.
