Getting started
What is SkedCast?
SkedCast is an agency-grade, bulk-first social media scheduling platform. You compose a post once and fan it out across up to 500 connected accounts on 10 networks — X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky, and Telegram — with anti-ban pacing, approvals, and AI assistance.
Who is SkedCast for?
SkedCast is built for agencies, social media managers, and brands that manage many accounts at once. Bulk import, multi-account fan-out, per-client roles, and tenant-isolated workspaces are designed for teams running social for 50–500 clients and influencers.
Is there a free trial?
Signing up is free and takes no credit card — every new workspace starts on the Free plan (2 connected accounts). Each workspace can then start one 7-day Studio trial from the console, also without a card. When it ends the workspace simply returns to Free — we never charge you automatically.
Do you have a referral program?
Give a month, get a month: your friend's first month is free on any monthly plan, and you get one month of their plan as credit (up to $49), released 30 days after their first paid invoice. Up to 10 rewards a year; credit expires 12 months after release. Annual plans already include 20% off, so no extra discount applies — your friend still earns their reward.
Do I need to install anything?
No. SkedCast runs entirely in your browser. You connect your social accounts through each platform’s official sign-in, and you are ready to schedule — nothing to download or install.
Platforms & publishing
Which social networks does SkedCast support?
SkedCast publishes natively to X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Threads, Pinterest, Bluesky, and Telegram. Telegram channels connect with a bot token; every other network connects through its official sign-in.
Can I post the same content to multiple platforms at once?
Yes — that is the core of SkedCast. Compose a post once and fan it out across every account you choose, with each destination receiving a per-platform variant tuned to that network’s format and limits.
How does SkedCast avoid duplicate or missed posts?
SkedCast guarantees exactly-once publishing. Two independent safeguards make sure a post is never published twice, even if a job retries, and failed posts are retried with backoff before being surfaced for review — so nothing silently disappears.
Will scheduling at volume get my accounts flagged?
SkedCast paces publishing to each account’s safe cadence and stays under every platform’s rate limits, with per-account speedometers that warn you before an account is pushed too hard.
Bulk import & workflow
How does SkedCast bulk-import posts?
You import posts from a CSV file, a Google Sheet, a folder of media, or AI-generated content. A single import handles up to 2,500 posts per upload on Agency, and up to 25,000 on Enterprise; every row is validated in a live grid where you can fix issues inline before committing the whole batch to your calendar.
Can multiple people work in SkedCast together?
Yes. Assign Owner, Manager, Member, or Viewer roles, scope each person to only the clients they manage, and route content through multi-tier approval queues with comments and full history.
Does SkedCast have AI features?
Yes. SkedCast can generate, rephrase, and per-platform reformat captions, with content variation to avoid duplicate-looking posts and mandatory AI-content disclosure so you stay transparent.
Pricing & billing
How much does SkedCast cost?
SkedCast has a permanent Free plan — 2 connected accounts, 3 posts a day, no credit card and no expiry. Paid plans are priced by connected accounts and seats: Solo $15/mo, Studio $49/mo, Agency $129/mo, Agency+ $299/mo, and custom Enterprise. Free plan, no credit card. One 7-day Studio trial per workspace, started from your console. Annual billing saves 20%.
Does SkedCast charge per seat?
No. SkedCast is priced by connected accounts and plan tier, not per seat, so adding teammates does not multiply your bill the way per-seat tools do.
How is X (Twitter) billed?
X charges per post through its API (roughly $0.015 per post, and about $0.20 for a post with a link). SkedCast passes that cost through transparently with pre-flight estimates and spend caps.
How do accounts connect to the platforms?
Every account connects through SkedCast’s own platform apps with zero developer setup. A quota-aware router spreads accounts across a pool of apps to stay under each platform’s per-app caps automatically.
Security & data
How does SkedCast protect my connected accounts?
SkedCast stores OAuth access and refresh tokens — never your platform passwords — sealed with AES-256-GCM under a key derived separately for every tenant. Tokens are decrypted only by the backend and never sent to the browser or logged.
How is each client’s data kept separate?
Every client workspace is isolated at the database level with row-level security, and per-client roles scope each team member to only the clients they manage — so data never crosses between tenants.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. You can disconnect any account to revoke and erase its stored tokens, and request deletion of your account and all associated data. Verified deletion requests are completed within 30 days.
Switching to SkedCast
Can I migrate my scheduled posts from another tool?
Yes. Export your content from your current tool as a CSV or Google Sheet, import it directly into SkedCast's bulk importer (up to 2,500 posts per upload on Agency, rows per upload), and reconnect your social accounts via OAuth — no passwords needed, no manual re-entry.
How does SkedCast compare to Planable?
Planable has the strongest client-approval workflow in the category: posts preview as the finished thing, comments pin to specific content, and clients can approve from a link without an account. It charges per workspace with unlimited users, so team size never raises the bill. The trade-off for an agency is that a workspace is generally a client — Basic is $33 and Pro $49 per workspace per month, with 60 and 150 monthly post ceilings, and analytics is a paid add-on. SkedCast prices by connected accounts, so cost tracks accounts rather than client count. SkedCast does not cap posting on any paid plan — only the Free tier has a daily ceiling, at 3 posts a day. How does SkedCast compare to Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social?
