Acceptable Use Policy

This policy sets the rules for using SkedCast responsibly. It is part of our Terms of Service, and breaking it can lead to suspension or termination.

Last updated:

1. No spam, fake engagement, or abuse

You must not use SkedCast to send spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or deceptive, fraudulent, or harassing content. Prohibited conduct includes:

  • Posting unsolicited bulk or repetitive content, or coordinated inauthentic activity across many accounts.
  • Generating fake engagement — buying, exchanging, or automating likes, follows, comments, or reposts, or other artificial-amplification schemes.
  • Operating accounts you do not own or are not authorized to manage, or buying, selling, or sharing access to accounts.
  • Impersonating any person or organization, misrepresenting your affiliation, or removing or altering attribution required by a platform.
  • Distributing malware or phishing links, or attempting to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or any platform.

2. Comply with each connected platform

You are responsible for complying with the terms of service, developer policies, and community guidelines of every platform you connect (including Meta, Google/YouTube, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Bluesky, and Telegram). Where a platform restricts automated or duplicate posting, requires consent to act on an account, requires specific posting disclosures, or limits how fetched data may be used, those rules apply to your use of SkedCastas well. A platform’s rules control on that platform even where they are stricter than this policy. You must honor end-user deletions and suppressions — if content is removed on a platform, or a user asks you to stop, do not re-post or retain it in violation of that platform’s rules. How SkedCastoperates within each platform’s developer policy is summarized on our Platform API Data Use & Compliance page.

3. Respect rate limits, automation fair-use & anti-ban pacing

SkedCastprovides per-account pacing, jitter, and content variation to help you stay within platform limits. You must not attempt to bypass, disable, or circumvent these safeguards or a platform’s published rate limits, and you must not use the Service to flood a platform or evade anti-spam controls. Bulk import and scheduling are intended for genuine, consented publishing across the accounts you manage — not for mass-creating throwaway accounts or blasting near-identical content. Posting near-identical content across many accounts is a leading cause of platform bans and is not permitted.

4. Mandatory AI-content disclosure

SkedCast offers AI assistance for generating and reformatting content. Where content is AI-generated or AI-manipulated, you must disclose that fact as required by applicable law (such as EU AI Act Article 50) and by the destination platform. When a platform exposes an AI-content flag, you must set it; the composer provides the affordance to do so. AI output is assistive and remains subject to your review and approval before publishing.

5. Prohibited content

You must not use the Service to create or distribute:

  • Illegal content, or content that infringes intellectual-property, privacy, or publicity rights.
  • Content that sexually exploits or endangers minors.
  • Content that incites violence, promotes terrorism, or targets people with hateful or harassing material.
  • Deceptive impersonation, manipulated media intended to mislead, or disinformation that is unlawful or violates platform rules.
  • Malware, or content promoting illegal goods, fraud, or other unlawful activity.

6. Enforcement & reporting

We operate abuse-detection controls and may investigate suspected violations, throttle or remove offending activity, and suspend or terminate accounts that breach this policy or put the Service or other users at risk. To report abuse or a suspected violation, contact abuse@skedcast.com.
