Before you connect
- A Google account that is an owner or manager of the Business Profile.
- The location must be verified on Google — unverified locations are shown in the picker but cannot be connected.
How to connect Google Business Profile
- 1In SkedCast, go to Settings → Connections and click Connect Google Business Profile.
- 2Sign in with the Google account that manages the business, and approve the requested permission — see it on the Google Business Profile integration page.
- 3Pick the locations to connect. Each one becomes a channel of its own.
- 4SkedCast confirms the connection and shows each location’s name.
Common connection problems
- A location is greyed out in the picker as "not verified".
- Google only allows verified locations to be managed through its API. Finish verification in Google Business Profile, then connect again.
- Posts to a location stop with a "not verified" error.
- Google suspended or re-requested verification for the location. Complete it in Google Business Profile — the channel starts working again without reconnecting.
- The channel shows as disconnected.
- The location was removed from Google Business Profile, or your Google account lost access to it. Connect it again from an account that manages it.

- Can I connect several locations of one business?
- Yes. Pick every location in the picker; each is its own channel, so you can post to one location or to all of them.
- Can SkedCast show results for each Google Business post?
- No — Google stopped reporting results for individual posts in 2023. SkedCast shows the location’s results instead: profile views, website clicks, calls, direction requests and the searches that found you.
- I manage a client’s profile — what do I owe the business?
- Connect only with the business’s written permission (SkedCast asks you to confirm it). Add the business’s email on the client’s page and SkedCast sends it a daily list of the posts it published and the review replies it sent. If the business asks you to stop, open the client and choose “Stop using SkedCast with Google”: every location is disconnected and access is revoked at Google at once. Hand back any profile ownership or manager access you hold within 7 business days, from Google Business Profile’s own People and access settings.
