SkedCast review policy
We want honest reviews, good and bad. This page says how Alpha Exotic Tech LLC, the company behind SkedCast, asks for them and what we will never do. Last updated 3 November 2026.
It follows the US Federal Trade Commission rule on consumer reviews and testimonials (16 CFR Part 465, effective 21 October 2024) and the FTC Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255).
How we ask for reviews
- We send the same short, neutral request to every eligible user at the same point: after your first successful scheduled posts, and after your trial turns into active use.
- We do not choose who to ask by how happy we think you are. Everyone eligible gets the same request.
- The request does not say what to write or what rating to give.
- We do not hold back a request, or send you to a private form, to keep low ratings off a public site (no review gating).
Incentives
- A review is never rewarded for its rating or its tone.
- If we ever offer a thank-you, it is free for us to give, the same for everyone, given whatever you write, and run through the review site’s own program, so the site labels the review as incentivised. We pay for no reviews.
What we never do
- We never write, buy or edit reviews, and we never pay for fake ones.
- We never ask staff, family or friends to post reviews as if they were ordinary customers.
- We never threaten, pressure or punish anyone for a review, and we never ask you to remove an honest one. We reply in public and fix the problem.
- We never hide, suppress or delete honest reviews on pages we control.
- We never invent customers, quotes or statistics.
Disclosure
- If a reviewer has a relationship with us (employee, family member, affiliate, partner, or received a free account or reward), they must say so clearly next to the review.
- Affiliates and partners are told this in their program terms. Our affiliate links are marked as sponsored, and our affiliate pages say that we pay a commission.
Records
- We keep a log of every review request: the date, the milestone, who received it and the site. The owner checks the log every quarter.
