- How do I schedule a YouTube Short?
- Connect your channel, add the clip, mark the post as a Short, set the title, description and a publish time, and SkedCast uploads it and schedules it through YouTube’s API. When it knows the clip’s length it checks that a Short is 180 seconds or shorter, and warns when the clip is not vertical (9:16) because YouTube may then treat it as a regular video. You can drop a main video and its Shorts teasers on a coordinated timeline.

- Yes, within limits. Buffer finds long-form and Shorts peak at almost opposite times (mornings versus evenings), so schedule them separately. Sprout Social’s study does not cover YouTube.
