If you chose to let YouTube hold the schedule, SkedCast uploads the video straight away as a private video that YouTube makes public at the time you set (YouTube Help: schedule a video). How do you change a YouTube video after it is published?
Open the published post in SkedCast and choose Edit on YouTube, part of the YouTube scheduler. It changes the title, description, tags, category, privacy, the made-for-kids answer, embedding and like-count settings, the language, translated titles and descriptions and the thumbnail, and adds or replaces subtitle tracks, without uploading the video again. The same works on a video YouTube is still holding on its schedule, except its privacy, which the schedule sets until the video goes live.
In YouTube Studio, the video’s details page edits the same fields and more, such as cards, end screens and the license (YouTube Help: edit video settings). YouTube also limits how many changes apps can make each day; an edit refused for that reason changes nothing on YouTube and works again after midnight Pacific time.

No. YouTube does not replace an uploaded file, because every new upload gets a new URL (YouTube Help: replace or delete your video). You can trim the existing video in YouTube Studio, or upload the corrected file as a new video.
