Before you connect
- For a personal profile: just your own LinkedIn login.
- For a Company Page: you must be a listed administrator of that Page — a follower or regular member cannot authorize publishing to it.
How to connect LinkedIn
- 1In SkedCast, go to Settings → Connections and click Connect LinkedIn.
- 2Sign in to LinkedIn and approve the requested permissions — see the exact scopes on the LinkedIn integration page.
- 3If you administer one or more Company Pages, pick which one (or your personal profile) to connect.
- 4SkedCast confirms the connection and shows the profile or Page name.
Common connection problems
- Posts that worked for weeks suddenly start failing.
- LinkedIn access tokens expire after 60 days. This is expected and not tied to anything you did — reconnect from Connections to refresh it.
- Your Company Page doesn’t show up in the picker.
- Only Pages where you’re a listed administrator appear. Ask a current admin to add you as an administrator on the Page, or connect a Page you already administer.
- Your personal profile connects fine, but Company Page posts fail.
- Personal-profile and Company-Page publishing rely on different permissions within the same connection. Reconnect and make sure you approve the organization/Page access screen, not just the personal-profile one.

- How often do I need to reconnect LinkedIn?
- LinkedIn access tokens expire after 60 days by design, so you should expect to reconnect roughly every two months if SkedCast doesn’t prompt you sooner.
- Can I connect a Company Page without being its admin?
- No. LinkedIn only lets a listed Page administrator authorize a third-party app to publish to that Page.
