Before you connect
- An Admin or Editor role on the Facebook Page you want to connect — a personal profile cannot be connected directly.
- If the Page is managed through a Business Manager / Business Portfolio, your access there needs to include that Page.
How to connect Facebook Pages
- 1In SkedCast, go to Settings → Connections and click Connect Facebook.
- 2Sign in to the Facebook account that administers the Page, and approve the requested permissions — see the exact scopes on the Facebook integration page.
- 3Pick the specific Page to connect from the list Facebook returns (only Pages you administer appear).
- 4SkedCast confirms the connection and shows the Page name and picture.
Common connection problems
- SkedCast says you’re not an admin of the selected Page.
- Reconnecting is pinned to the exact Page you originally connected. If your Admin/Editor role on that Page was removed, ask a current admin to restore it, or connect a different Page you do administer.
- Posts that were publishing fine suddenly fail with an authorization error.
- Facebook Page tokens are derived from a roughly 60-day user token, which can expire or be revoked (a password change, a permissions review, or a Business Manager change can all trigger this). Reconnect the Page from Connections to refresh it.
- Connections shows "no token on file" for Facebook.
- This means the stored connection was cleared entirely — either disconnected in SkedCast or revoked from Facebook’s side. Reconnect from scratch; there’s nothing to repair, only to redo.

- Can SkedCast post to my personal Facebook profile?
- No. Facebook’s own API only allows apps like SkedCast to publish to Pages, not personal profiles or timelines. Connect the Page you manage instead.
- What Page role do I need to connect Facebook?
- Admin or Editor. Roles with narrower access (Moderator, Advertiser, Analyst) cannot authorize a publishing connection.
