Emoji picker for Telegram posts

To add emoji to a Telegram post, search or browse 285 common emoji here, click one to copy it, and paste it into your caption, comment or bio. They are standard Unicode emoji, the same characters on every network; Telegram only draws them in its own style. Telegram posts take up to 4,096 characters.

Click any emoji to copy it. Nothing is uploaded — copying happens entirely in your browser.

How do you use the emoji picker for Telegram?

  1. Search or browse by category. Type a word like "fire" or "heart" in the search box, or click a category tab such as Smileys or Hearts to browse instead.
  2. Click an emoji to copy it. Click any emoji in the grid and it is copied to your clipboard immediately — no long-press, right-click or extension needed.
  3. Paste it into your Telegram post. Paste with Ctrl+V or Cmd+V wherever you are writing on Telegram — the caption, a comment, or your bio.
  4. Switch categories for more options. Use the 7 category tabs — Smileys, Gestures, Hearts, Nature, Food, Objects and Symbols — to browse beyond a single search term.
  5. Reuse it for every other platform. The same picker works identically everywhere else too, since Unicode emoji are not specific to any one network or app.

Good to know

  • A Telegram document rides on its own — it is not grouped with photos or videos in one album.
  • Telegram GIFs cannot be mixed with photos or videos in one media group (the Bot API has no grouped animation).
  • Telegram has no native post scheduling for bots — SkedCast schedules and fires the post itself.
  • Telegram does not support alt-text on images.
  • Telegram does not support polls in this composer.

What does it look like in practice?

A long post on Telegram

Telegram does not fold the text behind "…more", so a 280-character post shows in full; the hard stop is 4,096 characters.

Adding a photo to a long Telegram post

Text-only posts take 4,096 characters, but once media is attached the limit is 1,024, so a 1,500-character message must be trimmed or sent as text first.

Telegram emoji picker FAQ

How many emoji should I use in a Telegram post?
Telegram channels and group chats use emoji casually and often, closer to a messaging-app conversation than a broadcast caption.
Can I post text only on Telegram?
Yes. Telegram accepts a text-only post, up to 4,096 characters (1,024 once you attach media).
Will Telegram cut off a long caption?
Telegram does not truncate the text in the feed, so the whole post shows; the limit that matters is the 4,096-character maximum.
How many hashtags can a Telegram post have?
SkedCast enforces no hashtag cap for Telegram; the practical limit is the 4,096-character text limit and what reads well.
What happens to a link in a Telegram post?
The link counts at its real length, and Telegram shows a link-preview card for it.
Is this emoji picker specific to Telegram?
No — it is the same universal Unicode emoji picker used across every platform SkedCast supports. Telegram renders standard Unicode emoji with its own visual style, but the underlying character set is identical everywhere.
