Social media posting limits calculator

This social media posting limits calculator takes how many posts you need to publish, how many accounts you are spreading them across, and a safe per-account posting interval — Instagram, TikTok and YouTube presets are derived straight from the daily caps shown on this site’s own posting-limits page — and works out the total time span and a suggested round-robin schedule, downloadable as a CSV.

How to calculate a bulk posting schedule

  1. Enter your total posts. Type how many posts in total you need to get published.
  2. Enter your account count. Type how many accounts you will spread those posts across.
  3. Pick a safe interval. Choose an Instagram, TikTok or YouTube preset, or enter a custom minute value.
  4. Read the total time span. Check the posts-per-account count and total time span shown in the result.
  5. Download the suggested schedule. Download the full round-robin schedule as a CSV with every post’s offset.

Worked examples

50 posts across 5 Instagram accounts

With Instagram’s derived 14.4-minute safe interval, 50 posts across 5 accounts means 10 posts per account and a 129.6-minute (about two hour ten minute) total span.

100 posts across 10 TikTok accounts

At TikTok’s derived 96-minute interval, 100 posts across 10 accounts means 10 posts per account and a 864-minute (fourteen hour twenty-four minute) total span.

Social media posting limits calculator FAQ

Where do the safe interval numbers come from?
They are derived from the same daily post-count caps already shown on this site’s posting-limits page, dividing a day’s minutes by each platform’s documented cap. YouTube’s figure is Google’s default upload allowance for an API project (100 a day), which applies per project rather than per channel.
Why isn’t every platform in the preset list?
Only Instagram, TikTok and YouTube have a fixed documented daily post-count cap; other platforms are usage- or request-based, so a custom interval covers them instead.
How is the total time span calculated?
It is the busiest account’s own posts, spaced by the interval, from its first post to its last — every other account finishes at or before that point.
What does round-robin scheduling mean here?
Post one goes to account one, post two to account two, and so on, cycling back to account one once every account has had a turn.
Can I use my own custom interval?
Yes, choose the custom option and enter any number of minutes you consider safe for your own accounts.
What is in the downloaded schedule CSV?
One row per post, with its assigned account number and its offset from the start in minutes and in hours and minutes.
Does this calculator actually schedule or publish anything?
No, it only calculates timing and a suggested order; scheduling the posts themselves is a separate step in your own tool.
Do the platform posting limits differ by country, like Pakistan?
No — the documented daily post-count caps this calculator uses are global, per-account limits set by each platform, not country-specific, so the same numbers apply everywhere, Pakistan included.
