- Yes, within limits. Signing up is free and takes no credit card: every new workspace starts on the Free plan, which covers 2 connected accounts and up to 3 posts a day, so you can schedule X posts without paying. For higher limits, each workspace can also take one 7-day Studio trial from the console — also card-less, and it returns to Free at the end rather than charging you. Note that X itself charges per post through its API (roughly $0.015 per post, ~$0.20 with a link). SkedCast passes that cost through transparently with pre-flight estimates and spend caps.
- What is the best time to post on X (Twitter)?
- There is no universal best time to post on X (Twitter). Days: Tue–Thu. Times: Buffer: 9–11am (Tue 9am top slot) · Sprout Social: 12–6pm. Both studies favour Tuesday to Thursday and find the weekend weak; they differ on the hour, so test a morning and an afternoon slot.
