Evergreen content for social media: identifier

Paste a list of post ideas, one per line, and this tool scans each for a simple, disclosed set of signals — month names, four-digit years, "this week"-style relative-time phrases and common holiday names — to flag which ideas read as time-bound versus safely evergreen. It is a heuristic, not a guarantee: a clean result is still worth a human glance before you recycle it.

A heuristic scan, not a guarantee — nothing you paste is uploaded.

How to find evergreen content for social media

  1. Paste your post ideas. Enter one idea, caption or headline per line in the box, however many you have.
  2. Read the per-line verdict. Each line is marked evergreen, time-bound, or maybe, with the specific word or phrase that triggered the flag shown.
  3. Review the time-bound flags. A time-bound line names exactly what tripped it — a month, a year, a holiday name or a phrase like "this week".
  4. Double-check the "maybe" flags. These usually mention a day of the week alone, which is often fine for a recurring series but worth a second look.
  5. Reuse the evergreen ones freely. Ideas with no flags at all are safe to add to a recycling or evergreen content rotation.

Worked examples

A month name trips a flag

The line "Our big October sale starts now, 20% off everything" is flagged time-bound for mentioning the month October, regardless of the discount number next to it.

Five ideas, three verdicts

Pasting five post ideas might return three evergreen, one time-bound (a holiday mention) and one maybe (a bare weekday mention) — each shown with its reason.

Evergreen content identifier FAQ

What exactly does the tool scan for?
Month names, four-digit years, relative-time phrases like "this week" or "today", and a short list of common holiday names.
Is this a guaranteed evergreen check?
No — it is a simple keyword heuristic, clearly disclosed as such, not a guarantee that a clean result is truly timeless.
What does a "maybe" verdict mean?
It means the line mentions a day of the week alone, which is often recurring content like "Monday motivation" rather than a real date reference.
Does the holiday list cover every holiday?
No — it is a short list of well-known holidays and shopping events, not an exhaustive calendar of every observance.
Can I scan a whole month of captions at once?
Yes — paste as many lines as you like; each is scanned and scored independently.
Does this tool store or send my post ideas anywhere?
No. Scanning happens entirely in your browser as you paste — nothing is uploaded or saved.
Should I still read a flagged-evergreen post before reusing it?
Yes — treat a clean result as a starting point, since no keyword scan can catch every possible time-bound reference.
