How to use the X content calendar template
- Pick a month. Choose the month you're planning for; the calendar fills in every X-ticked weekday of that month.
- Review the X defaults. 5 weekdays are pre-ticked at 10:00 and X is pre-selected as the platform — adjust either if your own cadence differs.
- Edit the content pillars. The pillar textarea is pre-filled with pillars suited to this platform; rewrite it with your own recurring themes if you use different ones.
- Add an account or client name (optional). Type an account or client name to have it written into every generated row — useful when you manage more than one profile.
- Download and fill in the rest. Download the CSV, then write your captions, attach media links and add hashtags in your spreadsheet before scheduling.

- X rewards a real-time, conversational posting rhythm more than most platforms — many active accounts post several times a day — but a sustainable planning baseline most teams can keep up is one weekday slot a day, which is why this calendar defaults to Monday through Friday; treat this as a floor to plan around rather than a ceiling, and add more slots for real-time replies.
- Is this a separate calendar tool built just for X?
- No — it is the same content-calendar generator as SkedCast’s general content calendar template, pre-seeded with X-appropriate defaults (posting days, time and content pillars) so you do not have to set them up yourself.
- Can I change the defaults?
