Migrate from Sendible to SkedCast
To migrate from Sendible to SkedCast: export posts from Sendible’s calendar as CSV or HTML (its own help suggests this as a backup), bulk-import that into SkedCast, then reconnect each account.
What can you take with you from Sendible?
Scheduled posts
Open the Calendar, click the three dots on the right, choose Export, then pick CSV (spreadsheet) or HTML (printable, can be saved as PDF). A filtered export can be limited to Sent, Scheduled, Failed or Queued posts, and drafts export the same way. Sendible lists a backup of upcoming posts as a use and suggests re-importing with its bulk importer. The article states no plan restriction and lists no CSV column names.
Disconnecting or cancelling
Deleting a social profile leaves messages scheduled for it showing “No profiles selected” (Sendible says to re-assign them first) and deletes that profile’s historical reporting. Cancelling shows a cancellation date; the account is recoverable for up to 20 days and all data is permanently deleted 30 days after the cancellation date. Pausing (up to 3 months) pauses scheduled posts and reports. Sendible’s help does not say whether still-scheduled posts publish between cancelling and the cancellation date, or after it.
How do you move from Sendible to SkedCast?
- Export your posts from Sendible. Open the Calendar, click the three dots on the right, then Export, and choose CSV or HTML. To limit it to scheduled posts, filter the calendar first and export only Scheduled. Sendible recommends one profile at a time and monthly chunks for large sets. Drafts: Publish › Drafts, tick the posts, then More › CSV or HTML.
- Bulk-import the CSV into SkedCast. Upload the CSV to SkedCast’s bulk import. Every row is validated against the platform it targets, so a bad row is fixed in the import instead of failing at publish time.
- Reconnect each account. Connect each social account in SkedCast through its own official sign-in. Group accounts by client if you manage several.
- Re-assign or remove scheduled posts before deleting a profile. Deleting a profile in Sendible leaves its scheduled messages showing “No profiles selected” and deletes its historical reporting, so export first and confirm the posts are live in SkedCast.
- Cancel Sendible once every post is confirmed live. An Admin cancels from the username menu › Subscription › Cancel Subscription › Cancel my account. The account is recoverable for up to 20 days and data is deleted 30 days after the cancellation date. Confirm every post is live in SkedCast first, since Sendible’s help does not say whether still-scheduled posts publish after you cancel.
