How do you use the X post preview?
- Paste your X caption. Type or paste your draft X caption into the box; nothing you type is uploaded anywhere.
- Add an image URL (optional). Paste a public image URL to see it in the mockup frame, or leave it blank to preview the caption alone.
- Confirm X is selected. This page opens with X selected; switch platforms in the tabs above the preview to compare.
- Check the character limit. The preview flags any text past X’s 280-character limit, which cannot be posted.
- Trim to fit. If the post runs over, shorten it or split it into a thread, keeping the key message in the first line.

- X has no native scheduling — SkedCast schedules and publishes X posts at the time you choose.
- X posts cannot exceed 280 characters (Premium long-form is not supported).
- X cannot mix media kinds — up to 4 images, OR 1 GIF, OR 1 video, never a combination.
