How to import the calendar into Airtable
- Build and download your calendar. Use the generator above to pick your month, posting days, platforms and pillars, then download the CSV file.
- Start a new table from the CSV. In your base, click "Add or import" in the left sidebar, choose "Import data" → "CSV file", then drag in the downloaded file.
- Check the detected field types. Airtable previews how it parsed each column and lets you override the guessed type — confirm Date became a real Date field before finishing the import.
- Importing into an existing table instead (optional). Open the target table, add the "CSV import" extension (Extensions → Add an extension → search "CSV import"), map each CSV column to a field, and choose "Add new records" or "Merge with existing records" as needed.
- Fill in Caption and Media URL. Open each record and fill in the empty Caption, Media URL, First comment and Hashtags fields.
Worked examples
Merging avoids duplicates
Re-importing the same file as a brand-new table would create a second, duplicate set of records; using the CSV import extension's "Merge with existing records" option on the existing table updates matching rows instead.
