How to create a social media content calendar in Notion
- Build and download your calendar. Use the generator above to pick your month, posting days, platforms and pillars, then download the CSV file.
- Open Notion’s import command. In Notion, use Settings → Import → CSV, or type /csv on a page, then choose the downloaded file.
- Let Notion build the database. Notion creates a new database with one page per calendar row, and one property per CSV column, named after the header.
- Check the property types. Notion does not always auto-detect property types the way a spreadsheet does — check that Date became a real Date property, and convert Platform or Status to Select if you want a dropdown.
- Fill in Caption and Media URL. Open each page (or edit inline) and fill in the empty Caption, Media URL, First comment and Hashtags properties.
