One column becomes one property

What does Notion do with the calendar file?
It turns the file into a database. The same CSV also opens in Google Sheets or Excel if your team plans there.

How do you create a social media content calendar in Notion?
- Build and download your calendar. Pick your month, posting days, platforms and pillars in the generator, then download the CSV.
- Import it into Notion. In Notion, choose Settings, then Import, then CSV, or type /csv on a page, and pick the file.
- Let Notion build the database. Notion creates a database with one page per calendar row and one property per column, named after the header.
- Check the property types. Make sure Date became a Date property and turn Platform or Status into a Select if you want a dropdown.
- Fill in the posts. Open each page, or edit in the table, and fill in the Caption, Media URL, First comment and Hashtags properties.

How do you add next month to the same Notion database?
Generate next month’s CSV with the same columns, open the database in Notion and choose Merge with CSV from its menu. Notion adds the new rows; it does not update existing ones, so merge each month once, and keep the CSV headers exactly as the property names are.
