To migrate from Publer to SkedCast: Publer’s web app has no export of your scheduled queue (its exports cover analytics only), so rebuild the queue as a CSV from Publer’s calendar view — or pull it via the API on Publer’s Business plan — then bulk-import that CSV into SkedCast.
What can you take with you from Publer?
Scheduled posts
The Publer web app documents no export of scheduled posts: its exports are analytics-only (Analytics › Post Insights › Export to PDF or Excel/CSV, covering published-post performance) and its bulk CSV is import-only. Publer’s API can list scheduled posts (GET /api/v1/posts with state=scheduled), but Publer says the API is available only to Business plan users.
Disconnecting or cancelling
Cancel from Settings › Billing › Cancel or pause subscription; paid features stay available until the paid period or trial ends. Publer says that if you downgrade from a paid plan to Free, all your scheduled posts will be lost. Removing a social account permanently deletes all its data, including posts and analytics. Pausing (1 to 3 months, paid plans only) keeps your posts and data.
How do you move from Publer to SkedCast?
- Get your queue out of Publer. The Publer app has no export of scheduled posts. On the Business plan, the API lists them (GET /api/v1/posts with state=scheduled). On other plans, list what is still queued from the Calendar › Feed view, filtered to Scheduled, and put it into a CSV.
- Bulk-import the CSV into SkedCast. Upload the CSV to SkedCast’s bulk import. Every row is validated against the platform it targets, so a bad row is fixed in the import instead of failing at publish time.
- Reconnect each account. Connect each social account in SkedCast through its own official sign-in. Group accounts by client if you manage several.
- Rebuild client approvals. Publer’s per-account approval modes (approved by Admin, by Client, or full posting access) do not transfer. Set up SkedCast’s guest approval link for each client.
- Keep Publer running until the queue is rebuilt. Publer deletes an account’s data, including its scheduled posts, when that account is removed, and downgrading to Free loses scheduled posts too. Do not remove an account or downgrade until its posts are confirmed live in SkedCast.

Switching from Publer: FAQ
- Can I export my scheduled posts from Publer?
- Not from the web app. Publer’s exports are analytics reports (PDF or Excel/CSV) and its CSV feature is import-only. On the Business plan, Publer’s API can list scheduled posts. On other plans, list your remaining queue from the calendar view and turn it into a CSV to bulk-import into SkedCast.
- What happens to my Publer posts if I remove an account or downgrade?
- Publer permanently deletes a removed account’s data, including its posts and analytics, and says all scheduled posts are lost if you downgrade from a paid plan to Free. Rebuild your queue in SkedCast before either step.
- Does Publer say what happens to posts already scheduled natively on a platform?
- No. Publer’s help pages describe what happens to Publer-scheduled posts, not to posts a platform such as Facebook is already holding to publish on its own. Treat that as unknown and confirm with the platform directly.
