Switch from Publer to SkedCast
Publer does not publish a way to export your scheduled queue, so the honest move is to rebuild it as a CSV from your own content calendar and bulk-import that into SkedCast. Here is exactly what Publer’s own help pages say.
What Publer lets you take with you
Scheduled posts
No official export of scheduled posts is documented. Scheduled posts are viewable at Posts › Scheduled or in the Calendar, but Publer’s CSV feature is import-only.
Disconnecting or cancelling
Cancel from Settings › Billing › Cancel or pause subscription. Access continues until the paid period ends. Removing a social account deletes that account’s scheduled posts in Publer.
How to move from Publer to SkedCast
- Rebuild your queue as a CSV. Publer has no documented export of scheduled posts, so list what is still queued from your own content calendar or from Publer’s own calendar view, and put it into a CSV.
- Bulk-import the CSV into SkedCast. Upload the CSV to SkedCast’s bulk import. Every row is validated against the platform it targets, so a bad row is fixed in the import instead of failing at publish time.
- Reconnect each account. Connect each social account in SkedCast through its own official sign-in. Group accounts by client if you manage several.
- Rebuild client approvals. Publer’s per-account approval modes (approved by Admin, by Client, or full posting access) do not transfer. Set up SkedCast’s guest approval link for each client.
- Keep Publer running until the queue is rebuilt. Publer deletes an account’s scheduled posts when that account is removed, so do not disconnect an account in Publer until its posts are confirmed live in SkedCast.
Switching from Publer: FAQ
- Can I export my scheduled posts from Publer?
- Not through an official export. Publer’s CSV feature is for importing posts, not exporting them, so the practical route is to list your remaining queue by hand or from your own content calendar and turn that into a CSV to bulk-import into SkedCast.
- What happens to my Publer posts if I remove an account?
- Publer deletes that account’s scheduled posts and analytics history when the account is removed. Rebuild your queue in SkedCast before disconnecting in Publer.
- Does Publer say what happens to posts already scheduled natively on a platform?
- No. Publer’s help pages describe what happens to Publer-scheduled posts, not to posts a platform such as Facebook is already holding to publish on its own. Treat that as unknown and confirm with the platform directly.
