How many posts can you schedule on LinkedIn?

LinkedIn does not state a number. Its Schedule posts page and its Pages scheduling page set how far ahead you can schedule, and neither gives a maximum count; the profile composer shows a badge with the number of posts in your queue. No figure is documented, so a number quoted elsewhere is an estimate. What LinkedIn does document:

Up to 3 months in LinkedIn’s own scheduler. A profile post can be set from 10 minutes ahead, in 30-minute steps or at a time you type, and LinkedIn converts it to UTC from your device’s time zone. A Company Page post needs at least an hour. To see the queue on a profile, select Start a post, then the clock icon, then View all scheduled posts; on a Page, any admin can view, edit, reschedule and delete scheduled posts, including those another admin scheduled.

LinkedIn’s help pages state no daily post cap for a profile or a Page. The useful question is how often to post, and the published guidance is a recommendation: Buffer’s frequency guide, updated 13 January 2026, says two to five posts a week on LinkedIn, with reach higher again at six to ten a week in its data. Yes. LinkedIn’s Posts API publishes a post when it is sent and has no publish-at time, so a scheduler keeps the post in its own calendar and sends it when the time comes. LinkedIn’s 3-month window and its list of post types it cannot schedule describe LinkedIn’s own composer, not what a scheduler can hold. SkedCast schedules up to 12 months ahead; at the moment of publishing, LinkedIn’s posting rules apply as usual.

Yes, but they count requests, not posts. LinkedIn limits its API per application and per member over a day that resets at midnight UTC, and answers a request over the limit with a 429 error. Its Share on LinkedIn page lists 150 requests a day per member for posting; an image or video post also spends a request to register its upload. A scheduler spaces posts to stay within those limits; they do not cap how many posts your calendar can hold.
