LinkedIn post limit per day: every LinkedIn posting limit

No. LinkedIn’s help pages set no daily cap for a personal profile or a Page, so you can post as often as you like by hand. The limits that exist are on what one post can hold and on the requests an app makes for you:

An app that posts for you, such as a scheduler, uses LinkedIn’s Share on LinkedIn product, which allows 150 requests per member each UTC day. They are requests, not posts: a text or link post is one, while an image or video post first registers its upload, which is a request of its own. A request over the limit gets an error until the next UTC day. At normal posting rates the limit is far away.

Two to five times a week is a sound default. Buffer’s frequency guide (13 January 2026) recommends that range from its own data; it is a recommendation about performance, not a rule LinkedIn enforces. Quality matters more on LinkedIn than raw volume, so post when you have something worth reading.
