1. Open the custom MCP server form#
In ChatGPT, open https://chatgpt.com/plugins, select the plus button, and choose "Add custom MCP server".
2. Name it and add the URL#
Enter a name such as "SkedCast" and a short description. Under Connection, choose "Public endpoint" and enter https://api.skedcast.com/mcp, including the /mcp path.
3. Choose OAuth and create it#
Configure authentication and choose OAuth. Read the risk warning, select "I understand and want to continue", then select "Create as a plugin". Review the tools ChatGPT discovered.
4. Sign in and use it in a chat#
Sign in to SkedCast and approve the scopes. Then start a chat with SkedCast enabled and ask it to schedule or check posts. ChatGPT can ask you to confirm write actions.

- SkedCast: a plan that includes MCP access (see pricing). The connection acts as you, with your role and plan limits.
- ChatGPT: account and workspace policies apply to adding a custom MCP server, so a workspace admin may need to allow it first.
