Connect SkedCast to Claude: how it connects#
Connect SkedCast to Claude as a custom connector, on claude.ai or Claude Desktop, using the same steps either way. Once connected, Claude can schedule and check posts through SkedCast's remote MCP server, asking you to confirm every write.
1. Open Connectors#
In Claude (claude.ai or Claude Desktop), go to Settings → Connectors, then select the "+" to add one.
2. Add a custom connector#
Choose "Custom" (or "Web" if asked for a type), give it a name — "SkedCast" — and paste the server URL: https://api.skedcast.com/mcp. Continue.
3. Sign in and approve#
Claude opens SkedCast's sign-in. Review the scopes it's asking for and approve — you can disconnect at any time from the same Connectors screen.

- No — Claude authenticates over OAuth 2.1, the same flow the SkedCast console uses for its own sign-in. You never paste a key into Claude.
- What can an agent do once it's connected?
- Whatever your SkedCast role and plan allow — the connection acts as you, not with elevated access. Read posts and analytics, schedule and revise posts, and act on approvals, all through the same tools listed on the MCP hub.
