How to add a watermark to an image
- Upload your image. Choose any JPEG, PNG or WebP file to watermark.
- Type your watermark text. Enter your brand name, a copyright notice, or any short text.
- Choose a position. Pick a corner, the center, or "Tiled" to repeat the watermark across the whole image (harder to crop out).
- Adjust opacity, size and color. A lower opacity blends the watermark more subtly into the photo; adjust size and color to match your brand.
- Download the result. Download saves a real PNG with the watermark baked into the image.

- What does the "Tiled" position do?
- It repeats the watermark text in a grid pattern across the entire image, which is much harder to crop out than a single corner watermark.
- What file format does the watermarked image download as?
- A PNG — chosen so the watermarking pipeline stays consistent regardless of the source format, and so a transparent source image is not flattened unexpectedly.
- Is my image uploaded anywhere?
- No — the watermark is drawn entirely in your browser via the Canvas API; nothing is uploaded to a server.
