- Are these dates confirmed for every year, including moon-sighting holidays?
- Fixed-date and rule-based holidays (like "3rd Monday in January") are computed precisely. Holidays set by moon sighting (some Islamic calendar dates) can land a day early or late — treat those as expected dates, not confirmed ones.
- What is the difference between a public holiday and an observance?
- A public holiday is typically a day off work by law; an observance is a recognized day (like Valentine’s Day) that isn’t a day off. Both are useful for content planning, but only one affects whether your audience is actually working that day.
- Does this cover more than 18 countries?
- The underlying library covers 206 countries; this site has dedicated pages built for 18 of them so far, with the general month view available for every visitor regardless of country.
