- Is matching case-sensitive by default?
- Yes, by default "Alice" and "alice" are treated as different lines; turn on the case-insensitive option to treat them the same.
- What does the whitespace-trimming option do?
- It ignores leading and trailing spaces or tabs when comparing lines, so "foo" and " foo " are treated as duplicates.
- Does it remove blank lines?
- Only if they are exact duplicates of each other — a single blank line is treated as a normal (empty) line, like any other.
- Does it store or send my list anywhere?
