What can you take with you from Planoly?
Scheduled posts
Planoly documents no CSV, spreadsheet or PDF export of the calendar. Its Plan Report generates a snapshot of scheduled and published content for a date range (thumbnails, captions, channel and post status) that you share as a view-only link, which expires in 7 days, or send by email. Planoly also documents an MCP connector (alpha, paid plans) that lets an AI assistant see your scheduled posts.
Disconnecting or cancelling
Deleting a social account in Planoly unlinks it and fully removes all content and posts associated with it, and cannot be undone; switching a linked account to reminder-only keeps posts and turns auto-posts into reminders. Cancelling keeps your plan to the end of the billing cycle (Planoly cannot pause subscriptions). Not documented: what happens to still-scheduled auto-posts when a plan lapses, or what unlinking a single profile does to its queue.
How do you move from Planoly to SkedCast?
- Record what is still queued in Planoly. Planoly documents no downloadable export. In the Calendar view, use Plan Report (top of the left panel) to generate a snapshot of your scheduled content for a date range, then copy the view-only link (it expires in 7 days) or email it. List the posts from that report into a CSV.
- Bulk-import the CSV into SkedCast. Upload the CSV to SkedCast’s bulk import. Every row is validated against the platform it targets, so a bad row is fixed in the import instead of failing at publish time.
- Reconnect each account. Connect each social account in SkedCast through its own official sign-in. Group accounts by client if you manage several.
- Rebuild any grid preview in SkedCast. Planoly’s visual grid planner is specific to Planoly, so recreate your intended feed order directly in SkedCast’s scheduler.
- Cancel Planoly once every post is confirmed live. Cancel from the profile icon (bottom left) › Billing › Cancel on the web dashboard, or in the App Store or Google Play if you subscribed there. Confirm each post is live and correct in SkedCast first: Planoly’s help center does not document what happens to still-queued auto-posts when a plan lapses, and deleting a social account removes its posts.
