How to move from Planoly to SkedCast
- Record what is still queued in Planoly. Planoly documents no export of the grid or scheduled posts. List what is still queued from the Planoly calendar view or your own content plan before you disconnect anything.
- Bulk-import the CSV into SkedCast. Upload the CSV to SkedCast’s bulk import. Every row is validated against the platform it targets, so a bad row is fixed in the import instead of failing at publish time.
- Reconnect each account. Connect each social account in SkedCast through its own official sign-in. Group accounts by client if you manage several.
- Rebuild any grid preview in SkedCast. Planoly’s visual grid planner is specific to Planoly; there is no export of the grid layout itself, so recreate your intended feed order directly in SkedCast’s scheduler.
- Cancel Planoly once every post is confirmed live. Confirm each post is live and correct in SkedCast before cancelling Planoly — its help center does not document what happens to still-queued posts on cancellation, so do not assume they simply stop.
