Switch from Later to SkedCast
Later does not publish a way to export scheduled posts or the calendar directly; it does export analytics as CSV. Here is the honest route to move, and exactly what Later’s help pages say.

No help article documents exporting scheduled posts or the calendar. Later does document analytics CSV export and a shareable Performance Report link, which are not the same thing.

Remove a profile from Settings › Social Sets & Access. Removing it does not change billing, and Later restores a removed profile’s posts if you reconnect within 30 days.
How to move from Later to SkedCast
- Rebuild your queue as a CSV. Later documents no export of scheduled posts or the calendar. List what is still queued from your own content calendar or Later’s calendar view.
- Bulk-import the CSV into SkedCast. Upload the CSV to SkedCast’s bulk import. Every row is validated against the platform it targets, so a bad row is fixed in the import instead of failing at publish time.
- Reconnect each account. Connect each social account in SkedCast through its own official sign-in. Group accounts by client if you manage several.
- Export your Later analytics if you want the history. Later’s Analytics tab exports CSV for Instagram, LinkedIn, Threads and Link in Bio, on Starter plans and up.
- Remove profiles from Later once posts are confirmed live. Later restores a removed profile’s posts for 30 days if you reconnect it, but do not rely on that window — confirm every post is live in SkedCast first.
Switching from Later: FAQ
- Can I export my scheduled posts from Later?
- Not through a documented export. Later publishes an analytics CSV export and a shareable performance report, but no export of the calendar or scheduled queue itself, so list your remaining queue by hand and bulk-import it into SkedCast.
- What happens to my Later posts if I remove a profile?
- Later says scheduled posts for a removed profile will not publish, but restores them if you reconnect the same profile within 30 days.
- Can I download my Later media library in bulk?
- Only partially. On desktop you save one image at a time at medium resolution; the iOS app lets you select multiple items and download at full resolution.
