What does “supports Telegram” actually mean for a scheduler?

Tools that post to Telegram generally do not use Telegram’s in-app scheduled-message feature; a bot-based integration connects through the Bot API, which has no scheduling parameter, so the tool holds the post and sends it at the time you set. That has two practical consequences for what to ask a vendor: whether it posts to channels or groups, and whether the bot needs to be added as an admin. In SkedCast you connect a bot token and the channel the bot administers, and posts go to that channel.

What should you check before choosing one for these three platforms?

A channel being listed is the start of the question, not the end:

Limits per platform: Bluesky posts are 300 characters, Threads 500, and Telegram 4,096 (down to 1,024 with media). A tool should count against the right one before you schedule.
Threads and multi-part posts: ask whether it can schedule a multi-post thread (Bluesky has no native way to schedule threads).
