What can you take with you from Sked Social?
Scheduled posts
No export of the calendar or scheduled queue is documented. The documented export is the Excel report (Custom Reports › Download Excel report, for this year or last year, with the file link emailed to you) on the Professional, Grow, Enterprise and Accelerate plans; it has a “Posts for Period” sheet, but Sked’s help does not say whether that sheet includes still-scheduled posts. External approval links show posts to clients through a secret URL, which is a view, not an export.
Disconnecting or cancelling
Removing an account means its scheduled posts will not be published and its drafts are lost (you type “remove account” to confirm). Cancel or pause from Settings › Billing › Cancel Subscription, or by emailing [email protected]; it takes effect at the next billing date, or at the end of the trial or paid period. Sked’s help does not state what happens to queued posts after the cancellation date.
How do you move from Sked Social to SkedCast?
- Pull a Custom Report, and rebuild the queue by hand. In Custom Reports, choose Download Excel report (this year or last year) and Sked emails you the file. It is a record of posts for a period, not a re-importable queue, and Sked’s help does not say it includes future posts. List what is still scheduled from your own content calendar or Sked’s calendar view.
- Bulk-import the CSV into SkedCast. Upload the CSV to SkedCast’s bulk import. Every row is validated against the platform it targets, so a bad row is fixed in the import instead of failing at publish time.
- Reconnect each account. Connect each social account in SkedCast through its own official sign-in. Group accounts by client if you manage several.
- Rebuild client access. Recreate any client-facing review process with SkedCast’s guest approval link, which needs no client login. Sked’s external approval links are a share view, not an export.
- Keep Sked Social running until the queue is rebuilt. Sked Social says scheduled posts will not go live once an account is removed, and drafts are lost, so confirm every post is live in SkedCast before removing an account in Sked Social.
