Metricool review

Metricool review: strengths, pricing and who it's for

Metricool is excellent when analytics and reporting are the core of the service, and brand-tier pricing suits a roster where each client has one profile per network. It gets awkward for high-volume publishing: CSV import is advised at 50 posts a file, approvals and roles need the Advanced tier, “unlimited” posting is subject to a fair-use threshold of 600 posts per brand per month, and full white label is custom-quoted. SkedCast is built for volume: bulk import, fan-out across many accounts, per-account pacing and plan tiers that reach 500 connected accounts.

What Metricool does well

  • Analytics breadth: per-network analytics, competitor tracking, hashtag tracking and unlimited history on paid plans
  • Reporting: PDF and PPT reports with your own logo from Starter, plus customizable templates and a Looker Studio connector from Advanced
  • A full white-label option (agency-branded platform and reports) on its custom plan, which SkedCast does not offer
  • A free plan with no expiry (one brand, 20 posts a month) and an MCP server on every plan, including Free
  • Ads management, a unified inbox and SmartLinks link-in-bio in the same product — SkedCast has no ads management or inbox
  • Unlimited team members, and clients can connect their own accounts from a shared link without a Metricool account

What to check before you commit

  • True bulk import — up to 2,500 posts per upload on Agency — from CSV, Google Sheets or AI, validated and fixed inline; Metricool’s CSV import recommends up to 50 posts per file and needs public media links
  • Compose once and fan a post out across many accounts on the same network; a Metricool brand holds one profile per network, so a second account on a network needs another brand
  • Pricing by connected accounts with no add-on to connect X; Metricool charges $10 a month per connected X account on top of its plan
  • Approvals and per-client roles from the Studio plan; in Metricool they need its Advanced tier, from $53 a month billed annually
  • Anti-ban pacing with per-account cadence and a managed app pool; Metricool advises you to leave a five-minute gap between TikTok videos yourself
